Since 2002, The Book Oasis has proudly served Stoneham and the surrounding communities. An independently-owned, community-oriented bookstore, we offer a 30,000-title selection of gently used books. You'll find unique gifts, plush, candles, games and greeting cards, too.
We're local and we strive to shop locally. Most of our products are made in New England or the United States of America.
Now in its 20th year, owners Dan & Debbie Sullivan are excited about the year to come. Both incurable bookaholics, we decided to open The Book Oasis after being downsized from our corporate jobs. Dan's experience in logistics and shipping combined with Deb's accounting background helped with the behind-the-scenes stuff. A true love of books and reading did the rest. We got our feet wet in the flea market business, selling at The Silver Lake Flea Market in Hollis, NH for almost 20 years.
